CASSANDRA CHAMBERLAIN

Cassandra Chamberlain has been teaching on-camera film technique for more than 15 years to actors in LA, San Francisco, Hawaii and Seattle. Many of her students have gone on to work in film and television in starring and supporting roles, including a recent James Bond Film.

She and her husband recently moved to Mercer Island, where she founded "The Actor's Studio NW".

Prior to moving to Mercer Island, Cassandra was living in Kauai, Hawaii, for 2.5 years, where she was artistic director for Hawaii Children's Theatre. Cassandra directed the Tony award winning Cathy Rigby version of Peter Pan, with a 22-piece orchestra.  She was honored by the Mayor of Kauai in a special ceremony and given an award for her outstanding production. She also produced workshops for actors, workshops for SAG in Honolulu, and taught film classes. She did private coaching, and script consulting on a feature film to be shot in China.

Before moving to Hawaii, Cassandra founded The Actor's Studio of Sausalito, California, where, for several years, she taught, directed, produced, and cast local films. She has written and directed several short films, Industry showcases, plays, commercials, and feature-length screenplays.

Prior to Sausalito, she lived in Southern California with her family, working as a professional actor, drama coach, filmmaker, as well as wearing several other hats within the Hollywood Film Community.

Her film studies were at UCLA, AFI, Sony Institute of Technology, and Orange Coast College.
